Member Benefits
Members of the Harvard Club of Naples enjoy many benefits:
Members are invited to attend upwards of twelve to fifteen events each year beginning in November and extending through April. The events are diverse in nature, ideally designed to appeal to the multi-faceted interests of our members. Any related costs are reasonable and stated to cover the cost of the event. For example, we host deans of Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, as well as deans of the Graduate Schools. On occasion, we hear from outstanding graduates of Harvard. Annually, we join the Yale and Princeton Clubs for an Economic Forum (this year sponsored by Fifth/Third Bank).
Other events include a tour of the Naples Museum of Art, a night at The Phil, a night at the Sugden Theater, a luncheon with the Yale Club to watch “The Game”, and the year-end Ivy League picnic. In addition, this year, as a result of suggestions offered by our members, we are planning a visit to the Naples Botanical Garden and the new Red Sox Spring Training stadium.
Second, as a member, you will meet some old friends and make some new friends. You will receive a copy of a new annual directory listing over 300 alumni/ae in the Naples area. Your dues payment will ensure that you are included in next year’s directory as well.
Third, you could present an annual Harvard Book Award to outstanding junior class members of all high schools in Collier County. Or you may assist the Schools Committee in organizing a spring reception about Harvard for these and other students entering their senior year of high school. Some of you might prefer to participate in the summer internship program by hosting a Harvard College student at a local not-for-profit organization.
These benefits are yours for a modest dues payment of $50 per year, which are used to meet administrative expenses. Please join today and bring your Harvard friends with you.
